Threaded drilling rods

A thread connection drill rod, also known as a hydraulic drill rod or heavy-duty drill rod, is a rock drilling tool that connects the drill tail, hydraulic rock drill, and thread drill bit. It transmits the impact and rotary force of the hydraulic rock drill to the threaded drill bit for breaking rock. This type of drill rod is commonly used with hydraulic rock drilling jumbos and rigs. The main thread forms include R22, R25, R28, R32, TR35, T38, T45, T51, ST58, ST68, T60, EL60, and EL68. The drill rods are categorized into quick-change drill rods and MF joint rod drill rods. They find wide application in open-air mining, underground mining, roadway excavation, anchoring engineering, blast furnace tapping, tunnel construction, hydropower projects, quarry operations, and various other construction endeavors.
